Biography
A transplant from New
Jersey, in 1974, I followed a dream and a goal to buy property and build a
home in a rural area. The Adirondacks and a twenty five acre parcel in the
Ironville section of Crown Point became the reality of that dream. My wife
and I designed and helped to build our home and raise three children here.
We could not have been successful without the help of the good folks in our
community and those nearby. With a teaching degree in Industrial Arts and my
wife with a Fine Arts degree, we were fortunate to land jobs with the newly
established Essex County ARC. After thirty one years of wearing hats as shop
foreman, workshop coordinator, marketing director and program director, I
decided to retire and start a new venture in Real Estate.
My experience in home
building, business and working closely with staff and customers should serve
me well in my Real Estate endeavor. Honesty and good work ethics, passed
down through family values, will serve my customers well.
Areas of Expertise
My understanding of home
building and developing good customer relations through follow up and follow
through should serve my clients well. Perseverance and the willingness to be
a good listener will be a plus.
Why I Love the Adirondacks
Three reasons: The people, the geography and the
freedom. Ask your neighbor for help and he or she will be there. Forget to
lock your door, not a problem. Want to be an independent or blend in, suit
yourself. The people are strong, self reliant, industrious and accepting of
others differences. Just give each other a little space. The geography is
gorgeous, diverse and challenging. Name the outdoor recreation or hobby and
we have it in the Adirondacks. Slow country walks or exhilarating climbs of
the high peaks. Leisurely canoeing on a pristine pond or whitewater kayaking
down the Spring rapids. The seasons allow us to experience some of the
adventures and life styles of our grandparents with the modern conveniences
that we choose. Adirondackers still have the freedom to live, work and play
without the restrictions, fees and lines that others are accustomed to and
there is no place like this six million acre park where people live; in this
whole country of ours
Best Advise to Clients
Research the area you are
interested in and talk with the folks who live there. List the pluses and
the negatives of what you are interested in before making an informed
decision and find a realtor who will listen and act on your wishes and
plans.
